Temperament/personality: Pomeranians love being the center of attention! They make great family pets, but may not be as compatible with small children. Pomeranians are intelligent, inquisitive, lively. and playful.
Size: The Pomeranian is typically 8-11 inches tall. They are full grown by 10 months of age.
Weight: A Pomeranian weighs 3-7 pounds.
Grooming:
Pomeranians are known for their poofy double coats, fox-like facial features, and upright pointy ears. Daily grooming required includes:
- Swabbing the eyes
- Cleaning the teeth
- Wiping the coat
Every few days, the Pomeranian parent must brush their baby’s coat. Paw wax must be applied once a week, and nose balm as needed. Baths should occur once every few weeks. The ears should be cleaned once a month.
Activity and Health
Activity needs: The Pomeranian has A LOT of energy for a small pup! They need one hour of exercise daily, at least. This can be a combination of playing with toys, walking, and running.

Origins
